For through the Law I died to the law, that I might live to God

Romans 3: 19  But we know that whatever things the Law says, it says to those who are under the Law; so that every mouth may be stopped and all the world may be under judgment before God,

20  because by the works of the Law none of all flesh will be justified in His sight; for through the Law [is] the knowledge of sin.
Romans 4:15  because the Law works out wrath, for where no law is, [there is] no transgression.
And that's why Christ has to die. If no law then no sin then no need for salvation
For righteousness does not come from the law... He had to die
Galatians2:19  For through the Law I died to the law, that I might live to God.

20  I have been crucified with Christ, and I live; [yet] no longer I, but Christ lives in me. HBAnd [that] life I now live in the flesh, I live by faith toward the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself on my behalf.

21  I do not set aside the grace of God, for if righteousness [is] through law, then Christ died without cause.
For I don't want to preach law but if there is no law then there is no need of Christ... For Christ came to fulfill the law
So that every mouth may be stopped and directed to the need for God
Sure there is no mention of hell but where is hell in all this?
Did Paul mentioned hell in any of his writings?
Did Jesus mentioned hell in His pamphlets... Parables?

This is a parable which is not a story but a fact... And the last verse... If people don't receive the law they will not receive Christ

Don't know what prayer is...

If prayer is folding hands and closing eyes, I don't do that always
If prayer is kneeling down with clasped hand, I don't do that always
If prayer is about crying out loud and shedding tears, I don't do that always
If prayer is going praying to God at a set time, I don't do that
All what I do is talk to my God all the time
While I am driving, while am walking
While am in my office in a meeting asking for his wisdom
While I am in a difficult situation asking for His strength
Praising Him and weeping inside with my hurts and injustice
Talking to him in my silence like a mad man always all the time
Crying out for help at times of trouble and loss
I don't take a time off to pray, I don't do that and don't know whether He listens to me the way I do but I know He knows me
I don't know what prayer is...
I don't know what prayer is...

A right thing at a wrong time is still a wrong thing

A saying which you may have seen at many places which says, “There is never a wrong time to do the right thing”

My intension out in this writing is not to break this popular phrase completely as it can bear other good thoughts in it, but to voice and give a different view confronting this popular thought.

I say “A right thing at a wrong time is still a wrong thing”, mark the words in comparison to the popular phrase where it means, that there is NEVER a wrong time to do a right thing, whereas, I voice that a right thing can have wrong times which can make the right thing wrong.

Is it confusing; let me explain it with an illustration picking it up to hit a so-called free young mind.

Think about a dating couple who are absolutely committed to each other and contemplating in getting married soon, so they will surely have physical relationship, some day, as a part of their lovely relation and God has made sex which is a right thing as part of their marriage.

But now if the same couple thinks that sex is a right thing to do, since, anyways as they are getting married and thinks of doing that right thing (sex) before marriage, does it now make it right. No, absolutely not, it makes it wrong.

God has ordained sex to be within the boundaries of marriage, if anybody violates it, they run in the risk.

So no matter how right and legitimate a thing may be but when done at a wrong time can in turn make that right thing wrong, thus, “A right thing at a wrong time is still a wrong thing”.

Ecc 3:1 There is a time for everything, and a season for every activity under heaven

Young people this is a very important issue and mostly the young generation lacks patience and everythings seems right and logical. But with patience comes commitment and endurance. To the young couples I say, if anybody approaches you without any commitments, then beware and have patience for the right time and for the right thing.

Remember it is better to have a broken relationship than to have a broken marriage, as the latter has more implications in its connotations.

Have patience for the right time in God and He is faithful to bring us to that right time in every situations of life.

As a practical experience, when decisions are harder to make and things become impatience and paths seems to fall as multiple choices, I feel God has given us a barometer to measure the right or wrong, that is, the barometer of peace.

Many a times waiting patiently upon God, He gives us a sense of peace or a sense of un-easiness about a choice within us to make us understand and choose the correct step in the right path at the right time. This is a process in life that God teaches us and this builds the Christian character.

In 2 Pet1:5-6 But also for this very reason, giving all diligence, add to your faith virtue, to virtue knowledge, to knowledge self-control, to self-control perseverance, to perseverance godliness

And connecting this verse with Rom 5:3-5 And not only that, but we also glory in tribulations, knowing that tribulation produces perseverance; and perseverance, character; and character, hope. Now hope does not disappoint, because the love of God has been poured out in our hearts by the Holy Spirit who was given to us.

So you see that patience/perseverance produces the Christian character, which we ought to build within us. But the amazing fact is He is making that character and building it in us day by day and as we hope in Him, He never fails us for He cannot deny Himself, according to 2 Tim 2:13.

Jam 1:3-4 - knowing that the testing of your faith produces patience. But let patience have its perfect work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking nothing

So let the Word of God flow through us and let us indulge in knowing His word more and more in our life so that we lack nothing and again I repeat we lack nothing.

Have patience for the right time for things to happen.

Positional Truth and Progressive Sanctification

Two words – Positional Truth and Progressive Sanctification;

Eph 2:1-10 And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins, 2 in which you once walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit who now works in the sons of disobedience, 3 among whom also we all once conducted ourselves in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature children of wrath, just as the others.
4 But God, who is rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5 even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7 that in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us in Christ Jesus. 8 For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves; it isthe gift of God, 9 not of works, lest anyone should boast. 10 For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God prepared beforehand that we should walk in them.

Mark 2 verses here, verse 6 and verse 10.

Recently, the Burj Khalifa or popularly known as the Burj Dubai was inaugurated, it stands today as the tallest man made structure in the world standing more that 2000 feet above the ground.

Although, I have not been there but imaginations have not limit, it will be an exciting view to see from the top of the building and to look down from there would be magnificent, as to see yourself at such height. Now, think how tiny would all the other building around you would look, or a car or a person down below, probably you wouldn’t see a human figure; now imagine an ant below, probably that would be absurd to even imagine to think that you could spot an ant.

Verse 6 says; and raised us up together, and made us sit together in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus

What would be the view of our world from that height and to think about our problems on this earth is like to be absurd as locating an ant.

That’s our position in Christ, our Positional Truth and nothing can ever shake it or take it away from a believer.

The moment a believer accepts Jesus Christ according to 1 John 1:9 If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.

All our sins are forgiven, I again say all, our past our present and our future. That’s the gift Jesus gave us from the Cross, He paid for our sins.

I have not heard or seen any other spiritual book giving such an assurance. People live in the guilt of everyday and are not sure about their salvation, if they do good they will go to heaven but if they do bad they might end up in hell, so always dandling between heaven and hell never sure. But, Christ gives us the assurance in our positional truth.

Now, you may be thinking if all my sins are gone then why still a believer sin, why still even after accepting Christ as my lord and saviour I still have the urge to sin. Remember, although my assurance and the positional truth is sealed forever, but my flesh is still alive.

Eph 5:26-27 He might sanctify and cleanse her with the washing of water by the word, 27 that He might present her to Himself a glorious church, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing, but that she should be holy and without blemish.

Christ is cleansing us daily and one day present us in from of the God the father. This is Progressive Sanctification.

The work has begun the day you accepted Christ and it is from that day He is shaping you up, but your positional truth is you are already seated with Christ in heavenly places, which you may not feel in this mortal body but it’s the truth.

Phil 1:6 being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ;

So He who has begun a good work in you and according to Eph 2:10 prepared it beforehand, He is faithful to complete it. Amen

But are we allowing God to start the work in our life, or are we still dandling between, thinking I am not feeling holy and will I go to heaven.

Remember, Love is not a feeling it is a commitment and Jesus has already committed to complete it if you lift you hand to Him and ask Him to start the good work.

Are you ready!!

Just like that...

For a longtime now I have been thinking upon sharing my thoughts on my spiritual understanding of Bible and the Grace of God.

It’s been quite sometime since (more than 6yrs) I have done the little bit of Bible college. The teachings which I got during my studies in the Bible college, which I will not name now, has given me a very good insight about the Grace of God and His message in the Bible. Although, you all may be thinking that I am a preacher by profession, which I am not, thus, a lot of thoughts go around in my head, which I thought of writing it down in my blogs.

This blog is more for myself, than to reach out or share to others, although since it is an internet world so if people do get to read my blogs then, feel free to comment, but my thoughts are mine anyways….

So, Jesus, help write out my thoughts in this site according to your Grace and Mercy and help me not to divert from your Word, Amen.

By this last statement you might get a little idea of what my blog would preach… so enjoy!!
